Stephen W. Lim, MD

Medical Oncologist

Associate Director, Blood and Marrow Transplant Program

Stephen W. Lim, MD is Associate Director of the Blood and Marrow Transplant Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and an attending oncologist with the Division of Hematology/Oncology and the Thyroid Cancer Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He is board certified in hematology, medical oncology and internal medicine and has expertise in leukemia, lymphoma, neuroendocrine/carcinoid tumors and hepatocellular carcinoma.

He currently serves as the Chairman of the Institutional Review Board overseeing human subject research at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He also serves as the Director of the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program.

Dr. Lim has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, including the International Journal of Hematology, International Pharmaceutical Abstracts, British Journal of Hematology and the Canadian Journal of Infectious Diseases.

Dr. Lim received his bachelor's degree from the University of California, Irvine and his medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. In addition, Dr. Lim completed fellowships at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and the Sepulveda, Olive View and Cedars-Sinai Combined Program.
