

Andrew John Li, MD is a staff physician for the Division of Gynecologic Oncology within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cedars-Sinai. Dr. Li is board certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners.
Dr. Li's research interests involve minimally invasive surgery in the treatment of gynecologic cancers, as well as investigating the role of hormones in the development of gynecologic cancers. His investigations have received funding from the Pacific Ovarian Cancer Research Consortium, American Association of Cancer Research, American Society of Clinical Oncology and the California Department of Health Services.
Dr. Li has published his work in several peer-reviewed journals, including Clinical Cancer Research, Gynecologic Oncology, International Journal of Gynecologic Cancer and the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has also written chapters for the books Danforth's Obstetrics and Gynecology, Principles and Practice of Chemotherapy for Gynecologic Neoplasms: Current Therapy and Novel Approaches and Women's Health: Principles and Clinical Practice. Dr. Li is a member of the American Association for Cancer Research, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
Dr. Li received his bachelor's degree from Rice University in Houston and his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, where he completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Li also completed the combined gynecologic oncology fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Medical Center and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
