Gordon Wu, MD

Director, Transplant Immunobiology Laboratory

Gordon Wu, MD is Director of the Transplant Immunobiology Laboratory at Cedars-Sinai's Comprehensive Transplant Center.

An NIH-funded principal investigator, Dr. Wu's main clinical and research interest involves transplant immunology, especially mesenchymal progenitors of intragraft fibroblasts.

Dr. Wu has written numerous articles for peer-reviewed publications, including Xenotransplantation and Transplantation.

He is a recipient of several academic awards, including a prestigious scholarship award from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Upjohn Young Investigator Award from the American Society of Transplant Physicians and a career development award from the International Society for Heart & Lung Transplantation.

Dr. Wu received his medical degree in 1980 and completed his research fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
