Teen Volunteers
If you are interested in earning community service hours, have an interest in medicine or just want to give back to your community by helping others, then Cedars-Sinai is the place for you! We are excited to announce that we are accepting teen applications for the Academic 2008-2009 Session at this time.
Two teen volunteer sessions are offered each year in June (Summer) and October (Academic).
To become a teen volunteer, you must be between the ages of 14 and 18.
Teen Volunteers perform clerical or clinical duties:
- A clinical volunteer works in a patient care setting to interact with patients, assist in the nursing station, deliver flowers, deliver magazines and may perform some clerical duties.
- A clerical volunteer helps with general office duties including answering phones, computer work and filing, and working on various projects.
