Mary Beth Shwayder, MD is a pathologist in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. A pathologist in several Los Angeles area hospitals for more than 20 years, Dr. Shwayder most recently served at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena.
Board certified in both anatomic and clinical pathology, Dr. Shwayder specializes in gynecologic and gastrointestinal pathology. She is active in resident teaching and is a member of several professional societies.
Dr. Shwayder received medical degree at the University of Colorado, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha and was awarded the prize for outstanding sophomore pathology student. She completed an internship and pathology residency at Harbor-University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Medical Center.
