Medical Oncology

Medical oncologists evaluate breast cancer patients and advise them on the non-surgical treatment options. Some breast cancer patients benefit from chemotherapy, but others require hormonal therapy or no additional treatment at all.

Our medical oncologists work with our breast surgeons to ensure that our cancer patients are aware of all potential treatment options, including the latest pharmaceutical advancements. Our medical oncologists are also involved in clinical trials and research to continually develop new, more effective chemotherapy and drug treatments. Your medical oncologist will also help your breast surgeon to address other important issues, such as early detection of recurrent disease, pain management and the prevention of future disease.

Our team of medical oncologists includes:

  • William Audeh, MD
  • Agustin Garcia, MD
  • Philomena McAndrew, MD
  • Edward Wolin, MD
  • Michael Van Scoy Mosher, MD
  • Marina Vaysburd, MD
