
The Ruth and Harry Roman Emergency Department at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is dedicated to providing comprehensive, leading-edge emergency care to a diverse adult and pediatric population. The Emergency Department is a Level One Trauma Center, verified by the American College of Surgeons, and a tertiary referral facility. The Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is available to all people in need. The Emergency Department provided care to more than 76,611 people in the year 2007, approximately 210 people per day.
