Letitia Lau, MD

Attending Physician

Letitia Lau, MD is an attending physician at The Pain Center. Dr. Lau is board certified in internal medicine, anesthesiology and pain management, and she is certified in medical acupuncture.

Dr. Lau specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of extremity pain including, complex regional pain syndrome, herpes zoster, post-herpetic neuropathy, neuropathic pain, pain following surgical procedures and spine pain.

Dr. Lau is a member of numerous medical societies, including the International Association for the Study of Pain, International Spinal Injection Society, American Pain Society and American Academy of Medical Acupuncture.

Dr. Lau earned her bachelor's degree from the University of California Riverside and her medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Her residency in internal medicine was completed at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. She finished her anesthesiology residency at UCLA in 1994. She completed her pain management fellowship in 1996 and has been working at The Pain Center since that time.
