The Pediatric Nephrology Program at Cedars-Sinai offers comprehensive services for all pediatric renal diseases, including dialysis and liver and kidney transplantation.

We have conducted important clinical trials in kidney transplantation and offer state-of-the-art services to our patients.

Our pediatric transplant research program is funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and our lab has become one of the nation's leaders in transplant immunology research This research has already greatly improved pediatric patient care by developing:

• New tests to diagnose infectious and malignant complications of transplantation more quickly
• A new agent to improve transplantability and treat rejection episodes that are unresponsive to currently available medications.
