Robert M. Kass, MD

Surgical Director, Heart Transplant Program

Robert Kass, MD is Surgical Director of the Heart Transplant Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Kass received his bachelor's degree from Kenyon College and his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College. Dr. Kass completed his internship and residency in general surgery at New York Hospital-Cornell University Medical Center. He completed a fellowship in thoracic surgery at Cornell and the Memorial Hospital for Cancer and Allied Diseases. He completed a research fellowship in surgery at the Congenital Heart Disease Research and Training Center at the Ketoen Institute for Medical Research in Chicago.
