Jeffrey S. Helfenstein, MD, FACC is an attending cardiologist with the Division of Cardiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Helfenstein is also Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Helfenstein is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. His primary clinical and research interests include the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
Dr. Helfenstein received his bachelor's degree from Syracuse University and his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia. He completed his straight medicine internship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and fulfilled his cardiology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and UCLA Medical Center.
